on automatically and the default setting of 1 will appear on the display.
5. Keep pressing the
MENU
button until the program of your choice appears.
6. Keep pressing the
COLOUR
button to set the arrow to the desired position: light,
medium, or dark crust.
7. Keep pressing the
WEIGHT
button to move the arrow to the desired weight.
8. If necessary, use the
TIMER -
or
TIMER +
button to set the activation delay. By pressing
the
TIMER -
or
TIMER +
button, you can extend the time shown on the LCD display. You
can bypass this step if you want the bread baking process to start immediately.
9. Press the
START/STOP
button to start the device. The “ ”symbol shows the progress of
the process, the colon starts to flash, and the countdown begins. The program is started.
ATTENTION:
You can pause the program by tapping the
START/STOP
button. If you tap
the
START/STOP
button again, the program will resume. In order to stop the program,
press the
START/STOP
button and hold it for 3 seconds.
10. If you are using ingredients such as fruit, nuts, or raisins, the device will emit ten short
sound signals to tell you to open the lid and add these ingredients. Close the lid afterwards
and operation of the bread maker will resume. Do not add nuts too early or they will lose
their flavour.
ATTENTION:
the ingredient adding function is available only in the following programs:
basic, sweet, French, wholegrain, gluten-free.
11. The program ends when the LCD display shows 0:00 and the device emits 10 sound
signals. In order to turn off the setting, press and hold the
START/STOP
button for
3 seconds.
ATTENTION:
if you do not press the
START/STOP
button, the temperature preservation
function will be automatically triggered and set to 1 hour. In order to turn off the
temperature preservation function, press and hold the
START/STOP
button for 3 seconds.
The function is on when the LCD display shows the default screen.
12. Open the lid, firmly grab the dough basket through oven mitts, and raise it.
ATTENTION:
please be extremely cautious – the dough basket and the bread are very hot.
13. Turn the dough basket over through oven mitts (with the basket handle collapsed) over
a bread cooling rack and gently shake it until the bread falls out. Gently scrape off the
sides of the dough basket with a (non-metal) spatula.
ATTENTION:
if the paddles are stuck in the bread, gently pull them out with the hook.
Do not touch them with your hands at risk of being burned.
ENVIRONMENT
The device must be used in the recommended ambient temperature between 15°C and
34°C. Higher temperatures will cause the leavening to go sour and lower temperatures
have negative impact on the bread rising process. The ambient temperature may have an
impact on the size of the bread.
