Checking the Steering and Throttle Controls, Continued....
IMPORTANT:
If the wheels don't spin forward, move the transmitter's throttle
channel servo reversing switch to change the direction that the wheels spin. For more
information, see page 6.
q
Pull the throttle trigger back. Both the front and rear wheels should spin forward.

q
Push the throttle trigger forward. Both the front and rear wheels should spin backward.
q
Release the throttle trigger and the wheels should stop spinning.
IMPORTANT:
If the wheels continue to spin after releasing the throttle trigger,
use the transmitter's throttle trim knob to adjust the throttle so that the wheels
don't spin when the throttle trigger is released. For more information, see page 15.
As a safety precaution to prevent damage to the drivetrain, the
Outlaw RTR Brushless Buggy
must be stopped before going
into reverse. When the
Outlaw RTR Brushless Buggy
is moving forward and you push the throttle trigger to go into reverse, the
Outlaw RTR Brushless Buggy
will begin to brake and come to a stop. To go into reverse, release the throttle trigger momentarily, then
push the throttle trigger forward again.
n
Throttle Control Range Calibration
Before driving your
Outlaw RTR Brushless Buggy
for the first time, we recommend that you calibrate the throttle to ensure that you're
achieving maximum throttle range. To calibrate the throttle control range, follow these procedures:
q
Double-check that the ESC is turned 'OFF', then connect your charged battery pack
to the ESC battery connector.
q
Turn the transmitter 'ON', then adjust both throttle EPA knobs so that they are centered
(point straight ahead).
