Motor sizing is determined as follows.
T
max
< T
p
T
e
< T
c
Users need to consider the ratio of equivalent torque and continuous torque. Generally, the ratio (
T
e
/
T
c
) is
recommended to be within 0,7. Continuous torque for TMRW/TM-2/IM-2 series can be classified into air cooling
and water cooling. If the motor is operated with water cooling, the water cooling continuous torque can be taken
as the guideline for comparison.
Note:
The torque-speed curve provided in the specification is for a specific voltage, regardless of the speed limit of
the bearing and the position feedback system. The customer should also set the maximum speed limit of the
overall mechanism when sizing to avoid bearing life or position feedback system failure result in abnormal
operation or damage of the motor.
