4.3.20 Auto B/C Button

This button automatically adjusts the brightness and contrast of the image being observed.
Clicking the Auto B/C button starts the auto brightness/contrast adjustment process. A dialog
appears while the processing is in progress. The dialog disappears when the processing is
finished. The results of the processing are indicated in a brightness and contrast values.

Changing the magnification or moving the specimen observation position can cause the image
displayed on he observation screen to change from its optimal brightness/contrast. In such a
case, the brightness/contrast can be adjusted quickly by pressing the Auto B/C button.
NOTE
: Press the Auto B/C button to adjust the balance between brightness and contrast.
Perform fine adjustments by using the brightness or contrast adjustment button
and save the resulting image file.
NOTE
: The brightness and contrast of an image varies from one specimen to another.
For a given adjustment, the brightness and contrast changes with the specific site
being observed and the particular magnification employed.
