Inner cylinder fi lter

Open the dust case lid
(P.E-17) and remove the inner cylinder fi lter.
Turn the inner cylinder fi lter in the
Unlock direction as far as it will go.
Lift the inner cylinder fi lter straight up.
Inner cylinder filter
Dust and debris might spill when
you remove the inner cylinder filter.
To catch the dust and debris, spread
newspaper on the ground before
you remove the inner cylinder fi lter.

Remove dust and debris from the inner cylinder fi lter.
You can easily remove dust and debris caught in the inner cylinder
fi lter by sliding the maintenance brush in the direction indicated by
the arrow.

Attach the inner cylinder fi lter and close the dust case lid.

Match the inner cylinder fi lter with
the center of the dust case.
Push the inner cylinder fi lter down and turn the
inner cylinder fi lter in the Lock direction until
you hear a click.

If the fi lter is not securely attached, it might fall when you empty the dust case. Similarly, if you use the
vacuum cleaner without securely attaching the fi lter, strange sounds might come from around the fi lter.

Attach the maintenance brush to the back side of the dust case.
Attach the maintenance brush to the
hook of the dust case.
Firmly attach the knob of the maintenance
brush until you hear a "click" sound.
If the vacuum cleaner is started without the maintenance brush attached to the back side of the dust case
equipped on the vacuum cleaner, the brush might become detached. Securely attach the maintenance
brush to the back side of the dust case.
