Do not repair or modify any part of the vacuum cleaner. Do not disassemble any part of the
vacuum cleaner unless instructed to in this manual.
Failure to heed this warning might cause leaking of the battery, the generation of heat, fire, or injury.
For repairs, please consult with a Hitachi authorized service agent.
Keep the vacuum cleaner and charging station away from water and other liquids.
Otherwise, the battery might rupture and cause a fire, malfunction, or electric shock.
Do not place metal objects such as wires or pins against the terminals of the vacuum cleaner or charging station.
Do not carry or store the product with metal necklaces, hairpins, etc.
Doing so might cause a failure or a short circuit of the battery, which might cause the battery to leak,
overheat, rupture, or ignite.
Do not throw into fires or apply heat.
Do not charge, use, or leave near sources of heat such as fire or a stove, under direct sun-
light or in cars exposed to the sun, etc.
Failure to heed this warning might cause the battery to leak, generate heat, rupture, smoke, fire, de-
form, or malfunction.
