Recording Mode and Recording Time
There are 5 recording mode. The quality of the recorded picture varies depending on Recording Mode.

Recording Information Banner
1. Press
button during recording.
2. Recording information Banner is displayed.
3. Press
button again whilst Recording Information Banner is
displayed, and the screen will change to Input Signal Screen Display.
Advice for Recording
• Before recording, make sure to set the current time and date. (See
Timers in
50
)
• After the power is turned On, it takes about 30-40 seconds until HDD
starts up.
• The consecutive recording time is 9 hours 59 minutes at maximum.
Recording stops automatically and notifi cation appears when recording
time exceeds 10 hours.
• Up to 999 programmes can be recorded.
• Recording time available may be shorter than displayed remaining time of
HDD on the screen. It depends on the programme contents or external
input signal.
• When recording starts, notifi cation appears if the remaining space of HDD is less than 5G byte.
• It is impossible to record for less than 15 seconds.
• Pause button is not available during recording.
• The following can not be recorded;
1. HDMI 1-3, AV4, and RGB input
2. Radio broadcast and data broadcast
3. Copy guarded programme
4. On-Screen Display (OSD)
• If Sub Power button is pressed and TV turns into standby mode during recording, recording will stop. (except
Recording Timer and Quick Timer Recording.)
• If start time of Recording Timer comes during another recording, the current recording will stop.
• If the programme comes to the scene which is prohibited from being recorded, recording will stop.
• If Main Power switch is turned Off or the power supply stops due to e.g. the power outage during recording, the last
1-59 seconds of the programme cannot be recorded.
• After recording stops due to e.g. the power outage, recording will not start again even though Main Power switch is
turned On. In addition, the recorded programme may not be played properly.
• When Photo Input or EPG is in operation, recording is not available.
• If recording stops within 15 seconds from start, the recorded programme is not stored.
• In DTT mode, the recorded picture may show some interference if recorded in bad reception conditions.
In addition, actual playback time may be different from displayed recording time.
• Though display action of Menu, EPG, or the list of recorded programme may be slow during recording, this is not
malfunction.
