6.3 Errors and Countermeasures
When an event or error occurs, the S10mini uses the CPU module’s indicator to display a
message as indicated in the Table below.
The S10V, on the other hand, collects error information, but does not indicate any error on the
LPU module. You can view collected error information with “Error log” of the “Basic tool.”
For details, refer to “S10V USER’S MANUAL BASIC MODULE (manual number
SVE-1-100).”

• Hold the CPU or LPU RESET
switch in the ON position for a
period of longer than one second
and then release it.
• If the indication does not go off,
replace the CPU link module
because it is defective.

personal computer attempted to read
the RAM in the CPU link module.
The “Module” field of the S10V error
log information reads “LPU.” The
other error indications are either “CPU
link (main)” or “CPU link (sub).”

NONG 0x00C0
CPU number switch setting error:
A module having the same CPU
number as this module exists on the
CPU link line.
Note the CPU number selector
switch on the CPU link module
connected to the CPU link line.
Change the switch setting so that no
CPU number is duplicated.

GNG
0x0040
G-register area duplication error:
The G-register area transmitted by this
module coincides with the received G-
register area.
Note the preselected number of
transfer words for the CPU link
module connected to the CPU link
line. Change the setting so as to
avoid a duplication error
Either the
