4 CLI Commands: Base

This chapter provides detailed explanation of the Switching commands. The 
commands are divided into five functional groups:

D

Show commands display switch settings, statistics, and other information. 

D

Configuration commands configure features and options of the switch. 
For every configuration command, there is a show command that displays 
the configuration setting.

D

Copy commands transfer or save configuration and informational files to 
and from the switch. 

D

Clear commands clear 
- some 
    (e.g. the ”clear arp-table-switch” command which clears the agent´s 
    ARP table) or 
- all 
    (e.g. the ”clear config” command which resets the whole 
    configuration to the factory defaults
