2.7 Capacitance Measurement
Never apply voltage to the test leads. Doing so may
damage the instrument and result in personal injury.
To avoid electrical accidents, remove power from
the circuit before measuring.
1.
Set the function switch.
2.
If you want to change the range,
press the
RANGE
key.
(Normally, manual range is used.)

Connect the test leads to the test ter-
minals.
4.
Connect the test leads to the object
being tested.
5.
Read the value displayed in the
main display.
The sample rate for the 99.99 mF range is
0.01 times/second. It may take as long as
two minutes before the measured value is
displayed.
This instrument measures capacitance by
the charge-discharge method.
