Note: When you want to record in stereo, you must use an external microphone. The option
must also be set to external microphone. And, the external microphone must be a stereo
microphone.
9.5 Check System Status
To check the system status, follow these steps:
1) Press the MENU button. Press the UP or DOWN button to move to the “Global options,
pull down.”
2) Press the RIGHT, OK, or MENU button. BookSense announces, “Alarm settings, pull
down.”
3) Press the DOWN button to move to “check system status dialog.” Press the RIGHT, OK,
or MENU button and BookSense announces “Check system status dialog, battery level
##.” When charging the battery, BookSense announces, “Battery charging, using AC
power.”
4) After checking the battery level, press the DOWN button. BookSense announces
“Flashdisk free space (number) GB, Total space (number) GB.”
5) Press the DOWN button to check the firmware version and date.
6) Press the DOWN button to check the key number. It will read, “Key number ##.”
7) Press the OK or the CANCEL button to exit the system status menu.
Note: If the SD card or USB stick memory is connected, then you can also check each free
space and total space in step 4.
Note: You can check the system status by pressing the UP or DOWN button and check each
character by pressing the LEFT or RIGHT button.
9.6 Bluetooth Options
The BookSense XT allows you to use a stereo Bluetooth headset. Also enables to transfer
data files from PC with Bluetooth to the BookSense XT using FTP service. The Bluetooth
settings include the following:
9.6.1 Turning on Bluetooth & Connecting a Bluetooth headset
You can simply to turn on Bluetooth by pressing number 6 button for more than 2 seconds.
At this time, if the BookSense XT tries to connect to the Bluetooth headset with “Connection,
please wait…” message if the BookSense XT has the paired Bluetooth headset. And after
connecting the headset successfully, you is heard sound from the BookSense XT. If there
are more than two paired Bluetooth headsets, they is listed up from the BookSense XT. If
