1. Press <<OK>>.

The saw blade lifts out of the cut and stops rotating. The "Configure guard" prompt appears in the
dialog on the display.
2. Press the
EMERGENCY STOP
button.
3. Configure the blade guard to suit the obstacle.
4. Secure the danger zone in the area of the segment removed.
5. Make sure there is no-one in the danger zone.
6. Disengage the
EMERGENCY STOP
button.
7. Use <<OK>> to confirm that the blade guard has been configured.

Cut Assist in progress
screen is grayed.
8. Press the
DRIVE ON/OFF
button to resume cutting.

If the cut is completed without further intervention on the part of the operator, the
CUT Assist completed
screen appears. The
Reassemble guard
screen appears if further action on
the part of the operator is required.

• Carefully remove stubborn dirt from the tool.
• Use only a slightly damp cloth to clean the casing. Do not use cleaning agents containing silicone as
these can attack the plastic parts.

• Keep the battery free from oil and grease.

• Avoid ingress of moisture.
Maintenance
• Check all visible parts and controls for signs of damage at regular intervals and make sure that they all
function correctly.
• Do not operate the cordless tool if signs of damage are found or if parts malfunction. Have the tool
repaired by
Hilti
Service immediately.
• After cleaning and maintenance, fit all guards or protective devices and check that they function correctly.
