9 Troubleshooting
If the trouble you are experiencing is not listed in this table or you are unable to remedy
the problem by yourself, please contact Hilti Service.

The spring element is
not tensioned; no status
indication.
The battery is empty.

Change the battery.
The battery is not fitted cor-
rectly.

Insert the battery.

The battery is empty.

Battery temperature too low.

Allow the battery to
warm up slowly to room

The fastening tool has over-

The fastener guide is not
