4.13 Caster
Tools required:
5 mm allen wrench
6" (15 cm) block
Removal
SHOCK HAZARD:
To minimize the risk of electrical shock or damage to equipment,
disconnect all electrical power to the CarePorter™ Cart before working
on it. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
1. Place the On/Standby switch to the Standby position.
WARNING:
Use proper lifting methods. Failure to do so could result in personal
injury or equipment damage.
2. Unplug the unit from its power source.
3. Disconnect the battery pack (refer to procedure 4.1).
4. Set the CarePorter™ Cart on a 6" (15 cm) block (approximate).
WARNING:
Ensure that the CarePorter™ Cart is stable before removing the caster.
Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment damage.
5. Using the 5 mm allen wrench, remove the screw (A) that secures the caster
(B) to the base weldment (D) (see figure 4-15 on page 4-40).
