The “Overload” LED illu-
minates, the battery
charge level indicators
blink, and the audible
alarm sounds continu-
ously.
This occurs when the elec-
trical load exceeds 110%
of the maximum rated
capacity.
Reduce the electrical load
to <= 3 A. Check the cur-
rent electrical require-
ments for the equipment
plugged into the TPM.
The “No Output Power”
LED illuminates, and the
audible alarm sounds con-
tinuously for a minimum
of 3 minutes.
This occurs when no out-
put power is being sup-
plied to the TPM
receptacles.
Plug the CarePorter™
Cart into an appropriate
power source.
The “Battery Pack Protec-
tion Mode”
This occurs when the
TPM goes into a low bat-
tery pack shut down, and
no wall power is present.
The TPM will give low
battery alarm conditions
prior to shut down. Five
minutes after the shut
down, the TPM will go
into the “Battery Pack
Protection Mode”.
Remove the CarePorter™
Cart from service. Reset
the CarePorter™ Cart by
performing the following:
• Plug the cart into an
appropriate power
source.
• Turn the TPM
On/Standby switch to
the Standby position.
• Wait 30 seconds.
• Turn the TPM
On/Standby switch to
the On position.
The “Service Required”
LED illuminates, the bat-
tery charge level indica-
tors blink, and the audible
alarm sounds continu-
ously.
This occurs when a
system failure has
occurred.
The “Battery
Check/Replace” LED illu-
minates, and the audible
alarm sounds.
This occurs when a bat-
tery pack is not connected,
and the TPM is connected
to wall power, or the bat-
tery pack has reached the
end of its life.
Check for proper connec-
tion, or replace the battery
pack.
