3. Charge the TPM battery pack (O) 24 hours prior to using the CarePorter™
Cart (V) by following these steps:
SHOCK HAZARD:
Do not expose the unit to excessive moisture. Before charging the TPM
battery pack, ensure that no moisture is present. Failure to do so could
result in personal injury or equipment damage.
d. Ensure that no moisture is present before charging the TPM battery
pack (O).
e. If moisture is present, allow the unit to dry in a moisture free
environment at room temperature.
f.
Place the TPM battery pack (O) into the battery compartment (W).
g. Plug the battery cable (X) into the appropriate receptacle (Y) on the
battery pack (O).
h. Close the battery compartment (W).
i.
Plug the CarePorter™ Cart into an appropriate power source, and
charge the battery for 24 hours.
j.
Set the breakers (Z) to the ON position (see figure 6-10 on page 6-24).
