Manage hard disk drives (initializing and setting properties for HDDs). Ability to remote

If you forget the password to your DVR, contact your supplier with the serial number of your DVR to obtain a 

secure code to reset your DVR.

Locking and Unlocking System 

Menus 

on page 91). 

 

 

Deleting a User 

To delete a user from the DVR: 

1. 

Enter the Remote User Settings menu, shown in Figure 38 by going to Main Menu > System Configuration > Remote 

User Settings. 

2. 

Select a user to delete in the 

Remote Users List 

panel. 

3. 

Click the Remove button to delete user. 

4. 

Click the OK button to confirm deletion of user. 

5. 

Click the Done button to exit menu. 

 

Editing a User 

To edit a user: 

1. 

Enter the Remote User Settings menu, shown in Figure 38 by going to Main Menu > System Configuration > Remote

Select a user to edit in the 

Remote Users List 

panel.
