3.5 Lowerable stand-up aid Lox
Both sides of the Hilo bed can be equipped with the lowerable stand-up aid Lox. The Lox serves as a
useful support for less mobile users when getting out of the bed. Next to that, the Lox can also be
used to prevent the patient from rolling out of the bed unwantedly.
The lowerable stand-up aid Lox is available in a fixed and a removable version.
Remark: The Lox may not be used as sideguards. Other precautions should be
taken when dealing with restless patients.
3.5.1 Functioning of the lowerable stand-up aid Lox
The lowerable stand-up aid Lox can be adjusted by pressing the push button situated at the bottom of
the panel and lowering it until it reaches its lowest position. To put the Lox in its highest position, just
move it upwards until it clicks.

3.5.2 How to install the lowerable removable stand-up aid Lox
To install the lowerable removable stand-up Lox on the Hilo bed, the following steps have to be
