The magnet in the hand switch can affect the function of implantable active
medical devices such as pacemakers, internal defibrillators,... It is the
responsibility of the user / operator to take the necessary precautionary measures
to avoid potential risks.
2.2.1 Electric function possibilities
Make sure that no part of the body is situated between the moving parts.
a. Backrest adjustment: electric
This function can be activated by means of the hand switch.
Maximum angle of inclination = 55° with simultaneous head nod.
b. Knee rest adjustment: electric
This function can be activated by means of the hand switch.
Maximum angle of inclination = 35 °.
c. High-low adjustment: electric
This function can be activated by means of the hand switch.
When this function is activated, the mattress platform will automatically stop at a height of 400 mm.
This height enables the user to get out of the bed easily. When you push the high-low button again,
the mattress platform will be further put again in its lowest or its highest position.
The mattress platform can be adjusted in height, even when it is put in a Reverse-Trendelenburg
position. When the mattress platform is activated upwards or downwards, it will take a horizontal
position as soon as the front or back of the mattress platform reaches its highest or lowest position.
Between a mattress platform height of 250 and 420 mm, the mattress platform stays horizontal, in
order to avoid a collision with the floor.
