No Crank, No-Start
Step 13
Disconnect
fuel cap DAP
connector from
D81 chassis harness connector
on the back of the fuel
fill panel.
Using jumper wire ground
D81 chassis harness connector
to
known good ground
.
Attempt to start vehicle.
Vehicle does not start:
Repair open circuit 312 between C1 and
terminals 14, 15 and 7 including Splice 4
through D81. Refer to DSM.0036.
Perform System Verification Procedure.
Vehicle starts:
Proceed to Step 14.

, disconnect
DAP
connector from chassis harness
(D81).
Using a
DMM
, test for continuity through cap and connector circuit.
More than 5 ohms resistance:
Replace DAP fill cap assembly.
Perform System Verification Procedure.
Less than 5 ohms resistance:
Reconnect all connectors.
Perform System Verification Process.
