Use an alcohol wipe to remove the existing thermal grease from the heatsink.

Allow the alcohol to evaporate before continuing.

9.

Apply new thermal grease to the processor in the following pattern to ensure even distribution. Use the full contents
of the thermal grease syringe.

10. Install the DIMM guard.

11. Install the heatsink:

a. Position the heatsink on the processor backplate.

b. Tighten one pair of diagonally opposite screws halfway, then tighten the other pair of screws.

c. Finish the installation by completely tightening the screws in the same sequence.
