FM 3180 Installation Guide
Adding Module #6 to a Five-Module Fabric
You have an existing fabric with five FM 3180 fabric modules. You want to add another FM 3180 to
make it a fabric of six. To add the fabric module, you need to shift six existing connections and add three
more cables.
You start changing connections with HPE FM 3180 3 55, then HPE FM 3180 4, next HPE FM 3180 5,
and finally number 6. The following table lists the re-cabling required by direction.
