5. INStrUCtIONS FOr rEgULAr MAINtENANCE
- cleaning limestone and moving parts of the armature (switch, flexible outflow, etc.);
- removing impurities from the pearlator, chokes and choking tubes, filters, meshes (rinse
the impurities under a strong water jet, remove the limestone by the use of vinegar);
- greasing the sealing and moving parts (outflow, switch) by the corresponding Unitas grease
6. PrEPArAtION FOr WINtEr
In buildings that are not heated during the winter period, and, thus, the temperature can
drop below the freezing point (0 °C / 273 K), it is extremely important that the armature is
emptied completely as follows:
- with standing armatures, close the valves on the inflow tubes, disconnect the connection
tubes and open the armature handle so that the water flows out of the armature;
- for wall mounted armatures, close the valves on the inflow tubes and remove the arma-
ture.

For the attachment of the armatures to the
wash-basin, sitting bath or sink, a 35 mm diam-
eter hole is necessary.
When mounting the flexible connection tubes
to angle-body valves, please take care that the
tubes are not loaded by strain or torsion. the
tubes must not be stretched or twisted around
their axes.
