11-2.Communication Specification
Ethernet Interface
Interface
RJ-45 Ethernet
10BASE-T or 100BASE-T, Duplex full or half
Compatibility
Ethernet Version 2.0 / IEEE802.3
Protocol
TCP/IP, UDP/IP
Ethernet output data types are classified into two types: “Short data” and “Long data”.
Set a data type with a Web server function. (7-3-4.Advanced settings [Device Setup]
– “Data length Type”)
For long data, a 24 byte extended partition (Data varied according to the type of transmitter used) is added to
short data. When using the receiver with the transmitter using an extended p
artition, set the data type to “Long
data”.
As the transmitter TW-
800T does not use an extended partition, when the data type is set to “Long data”, ”0” is
displayed in the space for 24 bytes in
“Data varied according to the type of transmitter used”. When using the
receiver with TW-
800T, it is recommended to set the data type to “Short data”.

1
Checksum
Calculated XOR from “Transmitter ID” to “ETX”. And it is converted
to ASCII data for 2byte.
