NOTE
All of the programming functions
are only possible in conjunction with
Herth+Buss wheel sensors: article no.
70699443, 70699434; writing of third
party sensors is not possible. On the
other hand, reading out third-party
sensors is always possible.
2.5.1 Generating sensor
Use the arrow buttons to navigate.
Select “Generate sensor”.
Press “OK” to confirm.
Use the arrow keys to select between
the slot (WIRE) or wireless programming
(WIRELESS)
Press “OK” to confirm.
The sensor is now programmed.
You see the progress indicator.
Successful programming: the ID of the new
sensor is displayed.
Error in programming: the error “Incorrect
sensor” is displayed.
NOTE
Note: Avoid erroneous frequencies
during programming by keeping a
distance of at least one metre from
other sensors.
New sensor: automatically programs the
next free target sensor for the selected
vehicle.
Delete everything: deletes all data sets
which were previously read in for this
vehicle.
Arrow: you can program the next tyre set.
2.5.2 Automatic duplicate
Use the arrow buttons to navigate.
Select “Automatic duplication”.
Press “OK” to confirm. A short
introduction is displayed.
Please note the information which
disappears automatically after five
seconds:
• 1.
Read in all sensors to be copied.
• 2.
Select “duplicate” for each wheel.
Select additional function directly:
diagnostics, duplicate, program, save.
Diagnostics: the sensor is read in.
Duplicate: requires at least one read-
in sensor and duplicates it to another
Herth+Buss wheel sensor.
Program: enables programming of
Herth+Buss wheel sensors.
Save: creates a data set with the above-
mentioned three functions and saves it
in the device.
