j) Avoid any excessive length in the
connection of the cooker with the
chimney and any negative inclination.
k) Clean the chimney at least once a
year.

The most efficient way of cleaning
chimney conduits is using appropriate
chimney brushes. Chemical products are
available to help postpone classical
chimney sweeping operations
.
Chimney brushes must adapt as closely
as possible to the chimney diameter.
l) The joints of the pipes that form
the chimney, in the case of metal
pipes, must be sealed with refractory
putty.
m) External metal chimneys must be
built with special double insulated
pipes for solid fuels.
IV.- ASSEMBLY
The Hergóm TB-6H cooker is supplied
fully mounted and the all that is
required is the installation of the parts
indicated in the drawing and the
connection to the chimney.
ASSEMBLING THE HOB COVER
. Rest
the hob cover E on the cooker and
install the two pins, F.
CHIMNEY ASSEMBLY
. Smoke outlet
via the hob or rear.

Install collar-seal, L, on the hob
or rear outlet.

Cover the hob or rear outlet as
relevant using item M
HANDRAIL ASSEMBLY
-
Assemble the “A” supports and handrail
by screwing the supports to the cast iron
front section.
-
Once the supports have been
screwed on to the front section
and the handrail has been
installed, fix the supports to the
front section by means of the lock
nut included.
LEGS
-
Raise the cooker, place the legs,
G, and fix using the bolts, H, and
the nuts, L.
