The label says that the star handles should be tightened
crosswise!
Follow the instructions on the label.
Important!
Before recommissioning, close the bottom screw connection
(005.1) in the filter casing (001).
Caution!
Dry running the pump will destroy the
mechanical seal!
Before starting the pump fill the pump
and supply pipe with the pumped
medium.
Then de-aerate.
Important!
The points specified in section 6 'Commissioning' must be
fulfilled before restarting the pumps.

Important!
Tighten all nuts and bolts (clockwise) during assembly as
prescribed.
7.8 Disposal
The pump and individual components of the pump are to be
disposed of in an environmentally-friendly manner:
- Contact your public or private disposal companies for
further information.
- If this is not possible, the pump can be returned to the
manufacturer.
Important!
Check the proper seat of the filter strainer during installa-
tion!
The handle of the filter strainer (002) without sealing lip
generates the necessary prestress through the mounting of
the filter cover (003).
Installation of the filter strainer (002):
1. In the case of filter strainers without a
sealing lip, add a gasket (400.2) between
the filter casing (001) and filter strainer
(002).
2. Push the filter strainer (002) with the open-
ing facing forward into the filter casing
(001) to the limit stop.
3. Push the filter cover (003) onto the filter
casing (001) with both hands.
4. Tighten the star handles (004) crosswise
by hand.
