the fumes.
•  In enclosed areas, use suitable extrac-
tion systems.
•  If ventilation is inadequate, use suitable
extraction systems.
•  Clean the material to be welded if halo-
gen solvents or degreasers, which produ-
ce noxious gases, are present. During the
welding operation, if radiations produced
by the electric arc are present, some chlo-
rine solvents may decompose and produce
phosgene gas.
• Do not weld lead, graphite, cadmium,
zinc, chrome, mercury or beryllium plated
metals if an extraction system is not fi tted.
•  The electric arc produces ozone. Long
exposure to environments with high con-
centrations of ozone may cause headache,
as well as nose, throat, eye irritations and
serious chest congestion and pain.

IMPORTANT:  do not use oxygen for ven-
tilation purposes.

1.7 PACEMAKERS

Magnetic  fi elds produced by high currents
may affect the correct operation of pacema-
kers. Anyone who is fi tted with life-saving
electronic equipment (pacemakers) should
consult their doctor before considering
carrying out arc welding operations.

1.8 EMC

(ELECTROMAGNETIC

COMPATIBILITY)

Before installing the generator, evaluate the
surrounding area by carrying out the checks
listed below:
1.  Check that there are no power cables,
control lines, telephone cables or systems
near the generator.
2.  Check that there are no radio or TV re-
ceivers.
3.  Check that are no computer or similar
control systems.
4.  Check that there are no people fi tted with
pacemakers or hearing aids in the surroun-
ding area.
5.  Check electromagnetic immunity of other
equipment to be operated in the same area.
In some cases, additional protective measu-
res may be required.
Any interference can be reduced by carrying
out the following operations:
•  Reducing the generator output cable length
by keeping them as close as possible to each

other and laying them on the fl oor.
•  Carefully closing all generator panels after
carrying out a maintenance operation.

1.9 NOISE

These welders do not inherently produce
noise levels higher than 80dB. However, arc
welding operations may produce higher noi-
se levels than this; users must therefore take
all precautions prescribed by the law.

2. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

This unit has been designed to face and sol-
ve all problems  arising when body-repairing.
It permits:
•  Heating of pimples for shrinking back into
the shape.
• Electronic pulsed control for patching of
small sheets (patching).
•  Spot welding of nails, screws, washers, ri-
vets and molding supports.

3. ELECTRIC CONNECTION

Make sure that the line voltage and frequency
correspond to those mentioned on the front
panel of the unit.

•  Connect the unit to a power socket having
a capacity suitable to the power unit.
•  Make sure that there is an effi cient ground
connection, please note that same is impor-
tant for the security of the operator and the
installations.
• Before starting work make sure that the
line is protected by the requested delayed
line fuses as mentioned in the front panel of
the unit.

4.  CONTROL PANEL DESCRIPTION
