10 Cleaning
Observe local regulations and rules on hygiene when cleaning. Protect yourself with suitable
protective equipment (e.g. mouth and nose protection, protective goggles and gloves) during cleaning
and maintenance work.
NOTE! Protect the fan and other electrical components from water ingress. If necessary (e.g.
accumulation of dust), the inside of the unit must be vacuumed out only.
Clean the housing with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth. Ensure that no moisture enters the housing and
that electrical components do not come into contact with moisture.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, such as cleaning sprays, solvents, alcohol-based cleaners or
abrasive cleaners to dampen the cloth.

12 Dismantling & disposal
At the end of its service life, the unit must be dismantled by qualified personnel only.
NOTE!
- The general accident prevention regulations (UVV in Germany) must be observed when
dismantling the unit. The specialist personnel responsible for dismantling are obliged
to wear suitable personal protective equipment, in accordance with the accident
prevention regulations.
- When handling dusty components (such as filters), wear suitable protective clothing as
well as protective gloves, mouth/nose protection and protective goggles.
1. Disconnect the unit from the mains before starting dismantling.
2. During dismantling of the unit, components that are no longer fixed can slip and thus fall or tip
over. The unit and all unit components must therefore be secured against slipping, tipping over
and falling during each disassembly step.
3. Only use transport equipment, lifting gear and tools which are suitable. Do not stand under
suspended loads under any circumstance.
