8 Operation and handling
8.1 Switching on the unit
1. After installing the unit at a suitable location, apply the locking brakes on the two castors to
ensure that the unit stands securely.
2. Plug the supplied connecting cable into the intendedconnection. This can be found on the rear
side of theunit.
3. Insert the mains plug of the connecting cable into thesocket.
4. Switch the unit on using the (ON/OFF) switch on therear side.
5. The unit is now operational. MANUAL program:
=ON, = OFF. AUTO program:
Automatic operatingmode. The volumetric flow is regulated via the potentiometer.
8.2 Resetting the operating hours counter, thefilter message and the UVC
lamps
When the unit is switched on for the first time, the controlelement displays the past operating hours of
the unit andthe filter (WORK STATUS).

Exchanging filter and UVC lamps
After expiration, the message REPLACE appears on the display for the replacement of the respective
consumable.
Resetting the counter for the filters and the UVC lamps isdone by
pressing the button or . Then confirm withthe button .
NOTE! If no action is taken for approximately 5 seconds, theLCD timer will switch to the last
selected mode.
