9 Maintenance
9.1 Transport and storage of replacement filters
To protect the filters from contamination, they should onlybe transported and stored in their original
packaging. The transport must be carried out carefully. Any throwing is tobe avoided.
The filters must be stored indoors (not outdoors), protected from rain and moisture and at
temperatures above thefreezing point.
The filters are to be brought to the unit in their originalpackaging and only unpacked right before they
are used. The packaging must not be pierced with sharp objects. Thefilters must be removed from the
packaging in such a waythat the sensitive filter medium is not touched. Alwayshandle the filter by the
frame.
NOTE! Before the filter change, visually inspect the filter todetect any transport damage.
Damaged filters must notbe used.
9.2 Filter service life
The service life or lifetime of a filter is dependent on theoperating hours and the installation site.
Therefore, checkthe air filters regularly, depending on the degree of contamination. Select shorter
change intervals if a lot of dustor dirt is produced. Change them as required. Only use original air
filters.
We recommend noting the filter change date on thesticker provided for this purpose. This can be
found on therear side of the unit.
9.3 Filter change
When changing a filter, regular checks must be made forunacceptable soiling and damage, so-called
leaks as well asodours.
The filter change message appears, depending on the operating hours of the unit.
NOTE! After initial commissioning, the filter must bechanged after the service life has been
reached, even ifthe operating hours have not yet been reached.
F7 filter: 2500h or 12 months
H14 filter: 5000h or 24 months
NOTE!
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as protective clothing, protective gloves,
mouth/nose protectionand protective goggles must be worn when changing filters.
- Also ensure that there is sufficient lighting whenchanging the filter.
- When removing the unit cover, note its weight (approx. 3 kg). Wear safety shoes.
