5.3 Transport and installation
!
DANGER:
Personal injury and material damage during transport and unit installation due to
falling or tipping over loads due to non-observance of the safety instructions.
During the installation of the unit, special attention must be paid to the fact that units can tip
over if they are placed on sloping surfaces.
• The unit must be secured against tipping over until it is completely installed. During
installation, make sure that the maximum permissible angle of inclination of 10° of the
installation surface is not exceeded.
• Only use transport equipment, lifting gear and tools which are suitable.
• Do not stand under suspended loads under any circumstance.
• Secure the unit at the installation site, by applying the locking brake, to secure the unit
from rolling away.

DANGER:
Personal injury due to non-compliance with the general accident prevention
regulations during unit assembly.
The assembly personnel is obliged to wear suitable personal protective equipment, in
accordance with the accident prevention regulations.

WARNING:
Risk during transport from heavy or falling loads.
• Observe applicable safety and accident prevention requirements. Use personal
protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, a hard hat and safety shoes.
• Do not stand under suspended loads under any circumstance.
• Note permissible maximum loading capacity of lifting gear.
• Exercise caution when lifting. Note transport weight (approx. 40 kg) and centre of gravity
of ventilation unit (centre). Only use the unit with suitable transport equipment: lift truck
for pallet transport, crane or forklift for unloading the unit.
• Check unit for transport damage. Do not commission a damaged unit.

Exercise caution when handling packaging materials.
• Observe applicable safety and accident prevention requirements. Use personal
protective equipment (PPE).
• Store packaging material out of the reach of children (risk of suffocation).
