5.6 Cleaning / maintenance / dismantling
Wear protective equipment such as a mouth guard, protective gloves, safety shoes, and
protection goggles (PPE) when cleaning/maintaining/dismantling the unit.
5.7 General

DANGER:
Danger of electric shock when opening the unit.
Unplug the mains plug before taking off the unit cover. Where this is not possible, shut down
all supply circuits (switch off mains fuse), secure against being accidentally switched back on
and position a visible warning sign.

DANGER:
Risk of injury from running fan after the unit has been switched off.
Do not reach into the fan. Wait until the fan stops before removing the unit cover.

WARNING:
Risk to health if air purifier is not correctly cleaned.
Inspect the air purifier regularly, every 6 months for example, and clean it if necessary. This
is the only way of ensuring that it is running perfectly hygienically.

CAUTION:
Possible eye and skin damage from looking into UV radiation.
Avoid exposure of eyes and skin. Wear appropriate protective equipment such as protection
goggles, visor and gloves.

NOTICE:
Skin burns on hands possible from touching hot UVC lamps when replacing them.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety gloves.

NOTICE:
The unit will be damaged if incorrect cleaning agents are used.
• Clean the outside of the unit with water only.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
• Clean the inside of the unit with a vacuum only

DANGER:
Personal injury and damage to property during unit dismantling due to falling or
tipping loads.
It is essential to observe the safety instructions. .

DANGER:
Risks for children and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
a lack of knowledge.
• Unit may only be commissioned, cleaned and serviced by persons who can safely
recognise and avoid the risks associated with this work.
