17.1

 To ensure the continued ef

fi

 cient and safe operation of the boiler it is recommended 

that it is checked and serviced regularly. The servicing must be carried out by a competent 
person in accordance with the Gas (Safety and Use) Regulations. The frequency of servicing 
will depend upon the particular installation conditions and usage, but in all cases the boiler 
must be serviced at least once a year following the procedures set out below..

17.2

 Prior to servicing a check of the 

fl

 ue operation and terminal guard (if 

fi

 tted) along with a 

preliminary check of the boilers operation must be undertaken.

17.3

 Ensure that both the electrical and gas supplies to the boiler are isolated before 

commencing any work on the boiler.

17.5

 Remove the boiler casing as follows:

Open the front panel by removing 

        two screws at the bottom corners of the boiler.
