STEAM HEATING
EXAMPLE
To determine the ON cycle length, use the example values below:
•
Outdoor temperature = 30°F
•
Outdoor start = 55°F
•
Heat Adjustment = 7

Subtract the outdoor temperature from the Outdoor start (55–30 = 25°F).

Refer to Table 1 where the Heat Adjustment row ”7” intersects with the 25°F column. The Cycle-ON time is 14 minutes
(for a 60 minute cycle).
