The set data format applies to all the measured values exchanged during cyc
lic data communication. The decimal place specification for the Signed16 and
Signed32 formats is taken from the module setting (display, CAN Bus), e.g.
when 3 decimal places are specified, 2.0 mm is transferred as the integer
value 2000.
The choice of data format also affects the length of the input data (Signed16
= 1 word per analog value, Signed 32 = 2 words per analog value).
