The Controller is designed to remember all of your settings in the case of a
power outage or system disconnection. The Controller is also designed not
to activate the Havahart

®

Collar when there is a power outage or shutdown.

However, your dog may receive a static correction if he is near the Trigger Zone
during a power outage. Connecting the Controller to a battery backup device
may decrease the chance of this occurring if you have frequent power outages.

Check your dog’s neck daily for irritation from the Probes of the Havahart

®

Collar.

s

Clean your dog’s neck weekly where it comes into contact with the Probes.

s

Check the Probes weekly to make sure they are clean and tight.

Check the fit of the Havahart

®

Collar each time you put it on your dog.

Check the Havahart

®

Collar Indicator Light. If it flashes red, the battery needs

to be recharged.

Check the Controller. It will alert you when the battery is low and needs to

be recharged.

This is possible. See the section about Factors Affecting Signal Strength
(page 32). The Trigger Zone will remain consistent once set.

Neither Wireless Fence will interfere with the other. Havahart

Collars from

either system can be added to the other system. However, each Havahart

Collar can be active on only one system at a time.

No. They operate on different frequencies. Microwaves may cause limited
interference.

No. The Wireless Fence is designed to be an outdoor fence only.
