10 The following instructions are to be observed prior to installation of the
MSH Basic-FUBO-E-SR4/MSH Basic-MBK-R4:
WARNING!
Risk of injury in the event of improper installation!
Improper installation can result in signifi cant bodily harm and property damage.
• Incorrect cable/duct installation and improper fi lling of the cable trench results
in subsidence and can therefore potentially cause damage and leaks.
• When installing the MSH Basic-FUBO-E-SR4/MSH Basic-MBK-R4, it is imperative
to observe the relevant professional association rules, the VDE provisions, the
relevant national safety and accident prevention regulations and your company’s
guidelines (work and procedure instructions).
• The nationally applicable laying and fi lling regulations for pipes and cables are
to be observed at all times.
• Seal the surface and pipe substructure well prior to laying pipes/cables so that
the latter cannot subside.
• The relevant country specifi c standards and regulations are to be observed when
carrying out concreting work. This applies especially to concrete construction
elements according to EN206-1 which are impermeable to water.

11 Preparing for installation

For precise positioning of the MSH Basic-FUBO-E-SR4
(basic unit), a batter board must be prepared on site.
The line ideally identifi es both the upper edge of the
unfi nished fl oor, as well as the wall inner side (see Fig.:1).
