ATTACHING THE BLADE

HOW TO CHANGE BLADES

Switch  OFF  and  unplug  the  unit  when 

changing blades or during cleaning and 

maintenance.

Use gloves and do not touch the blade 

tip  directly.  Otherwise  it  could  cause 

injury.

   WARNING

1) Switch off and unplug the unit.

2) Move the sliding cover to the left to open.

3) Raise  the  crank  handle  clockwise  to  raise  the  ice 

holder.

5) Slightly loosen the two Phillips screws that fasten 

the blade.  But do not take off the screws.

6) Remove  the  blade  upwards  through  the  opening 

of the shaving table. 

4) Turn the blade adjustment knob counterclockwise 

so  that  the  blade  tip  comes  out  slightly  over  the 

shaving table. 

7) Position a new blade that its engraved mark "

(Hatsuyuki in Japanese)

 faces the guide plate, and 

insert  it  in  between  the  blade  holder  and  the  

guide plate from the opening of the shaving table.

8) Position the blade so that its bottom touches the 

blade  holder  and  then  fasten  it  by  the  screws 

firmly.

9) Turn  the  blade  adjustment  knob  clockwise  to 

lower the blade not to be over the shaving table.
