sources may be connected, and they must be “S” video devices. Inputs five through eight may be used for audio
sources. Press “Select” to confirm your choice, and note that a warning message will appear. (Figure #xx). Press
“Select” again to confirm the choice and return to the “System Setup” menu, or press “Cancel” to return to the “Video
Output” selection menu where another choice may be made, .
NOTE:
Once this choice is selected, the on screen graphics will only be viewable if the monitor, projector or
TV is set to “S” video.
D. If there will be a mix of “S” and Composite video sources, the “Custom Setup” option should be used. This enables
a mix of up to four “S” inputs, with the balance of the inputs as either composite or “S” video. When properly
configured, you have the option of selecting which format the on screen graphics will appear in, in conjunction with any
of the eight outputs. This selection of the menu graphics is independent of the actual source equipment’s output. This
setup may be complicated. Please contact your dealer or installer of assistance if this option is desired.

or composite”) on which you would like the menus for this input to be displayed. (Figure #xx). Press “Select” to choose
the proper video format, and note that the on screen “
“ cursor again to confirm the choice, and note that the square
block cursor and the pointer arrow are both on the same line as the desired menu output format.
4. Press “Exit/OK” to return to the “Select Source Menu”.
Repeat the steps outlined above, or press “exit/OK”
TWICE
to return to the “System Setup” menu if you are finished
with this process.
Settings Lock
The next portion of the setup permits you to lock the settings, so that accidental changes to the system settings may
not be made. Once the system is locked, it may still be operated, and it will be possible to select input sources, change
surround modes and raise and lower the volume. In the “Locked” condition, important system settings such as custom
user modes, venues, input and projection screen settings, balances and levels may not be changed. This prevents
unauthorized users from altering the system configuration.
