Troubleshooting
17.1 For Winches with and without motors
To identify the various components, refer to figures of the disassemble procedure for
the winch maintenance

free in “free
spinning”:

The shoulder ring is installed in wrong
position
The first speed button does not
disengage
The stud screw is not enough screwed
- position the shoulder ring with the notch
for the washer downward.
- check that the pin of the springs is not
broken. In positive case change the
spring
- check that the spring position is
properly in accordance with the
indications of the step #6 of the
disassemble procedure
- loosen the stud screw in order to
decrease the pressure of the ball in the
solar pinion.
- twist on the stud screw in order to
increase the pressure of the ball in the
solar pinion.
