CONTROL MODE
Functions such as Control Mode (to control zone devices in Button Mode) and Contact Closure Operation Mode
(to control event contact closure) are available.
Setting Control Mode
When you run < Start Broadcasting >, < Stop Broadcasting > from the < Operate >

< Button Mode >, you
can control the zone devices with either the TCP or UDP method.
Depending on the UNICAST, MULTICAST setting of <
Source Registration >
➔
< Transmission Method >,
the number of zone devices which simultaneously broadcast in the < Button Mode > changes.
< Control Mode > is only provided to the admin account.
1. Click < Operate >

< Control Mode > on the Home screen.

~ In a UNICAST network, if you set the < Source Registration >

< Transmission Method > to UNICAST
on the source device, you can simultaneously broadcast to up to 20 zones (20 output speakers).

In a MULTICAST network, if you set the <

MULTICAST on the source device, you can simultaneously broadcast to up to 50 zones (50 output
speakers).
3. Set < Control Mode > as UDP.

on the source device, you can simultaneously broadcast to up to 20 zones (20 output speakers).

In a MULTICAST network, if you set the <

speakers).
4. You have to select < Control Mode > and < Transmission Method > in consideration of the number of
zone devices which simultaneously broadcast and the used network environment.
5. Depending on the network environment configuration, the maximum broadcasting count might be limited.
Setting Contact Operation Mode
When the device receives the event contact closure signal set in < Event & Preset >, the event sound
broadcast and contact closure output work in the mode selected in < Contact Closure Operation Mode >.
1. Click < Operate >

< Control Mode > on the Home screen.
2. Set < Contact Operation Mode > to < Switch >.
~ The sound broadcast and contact closure output only work when the event contact closure signal is
turned on.
~ When the event contact closure signal is turned off, the sound broadcast and contact closure output
stop immediately.

~ Even if the event contact closure signal is turned on and off, the sound broadcast and contact closure
output stop after they reach the end.
~ When the event contact closure signal is turned on continuously, the sound broadcast and contact
closure output work repeatedly.
