• To switch on the appliance, touch the but-
ton for 3 seconds (13) .
The cover (14) will open, the fan will run for
a few seconds at the highest setting and
will then regulate itself down to the lowest
level (2 bars), and the light will switch on.
• Toswitch off the appliance, press the but-
ton for another 3 seconds (13) .
The light will switch off and the cover (14)
will close.
Fan
Your exhaust hood fan has four settings. At
the lowest setting, 2 of the bars will be illu-
minated, 4 bars on the next-highest setting,
then 6 and at the highest setting 8.
• Always switch the fan on as soon as you
start cooking or frying. This will eliminate
cooking fumes from the very beginning.
• Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
• If there are a lot of fumes, you can let the
fan to run for a few minutes after cooking.
Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
When you switch the appliance on, it will run
for a few seconds at the highest level (8 bars)
before it automatically regulates downward
to the lowest level (2 bars).During the setting
process, the indicator lights will flash (12)
as well as the bars, initially all 8 and then 2.

1. Touch the fan pre-selector (11) in the area
which approximately corresponds to the
desired fan strength. The corresponding
number of bars (12) will illuminate and
flash for a few seconds.
