19. Press the button (13) for 3 secondsin
order to switch on the exhaust hood. The
exhaust hood's cover will open.

20. Push the lock of the grease filters (8)
sideways and carefully remove both
grease filters upwards.
21. Remove all protective films from both
grease filters.
22. Reinsert the grease filters in reverse or-
der.
23. Press the button(13) for 3 seconds in
order to close the exhaust hood’s cover
and switch the appliance off. You have
successfully assembled your exhaust
hood; the appliance is ready touse.
Inserting activated charcoal
filter for circulation air
operation
A carbon filter (odour filter) is filled with acti-
vated carbon which reduces kitchen fumes
during cooking. If used frequently, you should
change the filters regularly. Please also refer
to the chapter ‘Inserting/replacing activated
charcoal filters’ on page 19.
1. Press the button (13) to switch the
appliance on and off for 3 seconds. The
exhaust hood’s cover will open.
2. Once the cover has reached the highest
position: Unplug the mains plug or switch
off the power to the corresponding house-
hold fuse.

pulling it upwards.
