very hot during operation and pose a

The appliance and its accessible parts be-
come hot during use.

Care should be taken to avoid touch-
ing heating elements inside the oven.
■
Children less than 8 years of age shall
be kept away unless continously su-
pervised.

Hob
–
Do not store items that could be of
interest to children in the storage
space above or below the hob. Chil-
dren could be encouraged to climb
on the hob.

Do not leave pot/pan handles stick-
ing out over the edge of the work-
top; this ensures children cannot
reach up and pull down the cook-
ware.
–
Metallic objects such as knives,
forks, spoons and lids should not
be placed on the hob surface since
they can get hot.
–
After use, switch off the hob ele-
ment by its control and do not rely
on the pan detector.

Oven
–
Hot steam can flow from the ex-
traction hood (ventilation) when
the oven is in use.
–
Never pour water directly into the
hot oven. The steam can cause
scalding and damage the enamel.

Allow hot water from the oven to
cool before pouring it out.
–
Never leave the oven unattended
while grilling. Keep children away!

Allow the cooking zones and oven to
cool completely before cleaning.
Fire hazard!

Hob
Unsupervised hob cooking with
grease and oil can be dangerous and
can cause fi res.
–
NEVER attempt to extinguish a
fire with water; instead switch the
appliance off and then cover the
flames with, for example, a pan lid
or a fire blanket.

If you are preparing food with alco-
hol, do not leave the cooker unat-
tended! Food may ignite of its own
accord.
–
Never store objects on the cooking
area.
–
The cooking process must be super-
vised. A short cooking process must
be constantly supervised.

covers made by the hob manu-
facturer, approved protective hob
