Caution
During driving, if the direction switch
is switched to the opposite driving
direction, the forklift truck will be braked
until the forklift starts to move in the
opposite direction.
2.6 Steering
Operating steps:
–
Turn right: Turn the steering wheel
clockwise according to the desired turning
angle.
–
Turn left: Turn the steering wheel
counterclockwise according to the desired
turning angle.
The display screen shows the rear wheel steering
angle.
Caution
Slow down the forklift truck before
turning.
Do not turn the steering wheel in the
stationary position when turning.
The forklift truck is steered through
rear wheels, and the counterweight will
swing outward during steering. Therefore,
the operator should ensure that there is
enough space behind the forklift before
turning.
2.7 Braking

Decelerate and depress the brake pedal
to stop the forklift truck.

Set the driving direction switch to
neutral.
─
Lower the forks to the ground and tilt
the mast forward to the maximum extent.
─
Press the electronic brake button.
─
Press the emergency stop switch.
Caution
The road will become slippery when
it rains and snows. The operator must pay
attention to the road conditions and
consider the braking performance.
Under the loaded state, extra care
must be taken when braking to avoid the
cargo tipping or slipping.
When towing cargo, note that the
braking distance will be extended.
In an emergency, service braking and
parking braking are faster and more
effective.
2.8 Emergency stop
Operating steps:
–
Press the emergency stop switch in an
emergency. All electric functions will be cut
off at this time and the truck will be braked
until it comes to a standstill.
