not shut down. For activation you can choose between 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. If you are
not working with the Connect Braille or press any button, the Connect Braille will
automatically switch off. When pressing any button, the Connect Braille wakes up and you
can continue working. No data will be lost when the sleep mode becomes active. The
default setting is 15 minutes.
5.1.4.7 Language
Hereby you have the possibility to change quickly between different language variations
without having to upload the firmware again. Additionally to the menu language, the
keyboard layout and - if available - the Braille table will be converted automatically. For
some languages, however, only English is available as menu language (code: English
menus).
If you accidently happen to choose a foreign language, which you cannot understand, you
can change the language by pressing and holding a letter for 20 seconds while switching
the device on:
d for German, e for English, u for US English, n for Norwegian, s for Swedish and f for
French.
5.1.4.8 Restore factory defaults (R)
By pressing the [TRC] key for this item, factory defaults will be restored for all Options
items without prior confirmation.
The default settings are as follows:
6 Dots Braille: off
Hotkeys Activate Objects: off
Highlight Hotkeys: off
Radio button submenu Tone Signals: Action Confirmations
Dot firmness: middle
Standby: 15 minutes
Language: remains unchanged
