  High voltages are produced inside the HAKKO FE-500 main unit. Observe the following 

warnings to avoid the risk of electric shock.

 Do not touch the electrodes while the power is ON.

 Do not allow metal parts or other foreign objects to get inside the panel.

 Conduct the daily inspection and regular maintenance procedures.

  This unit is not explosion proof. Do not use this unit near combustible gases or organic 

solvents.

CAUTION

To prevent accidents and failures, be sure to observe the following precautions:
   

 Do not use the unit near flammable materials.

   

Turn the power OFF when not in use, or left unattended.

   

 Turn the power OFF when changing parts or storing the unit.

   

 Do not modify the unit.

   

 Use only genuine HAKKO replacement parts.

   

 Do not wet the unit or use the unit with wet hands.

   

 Remove power cord by holding the plug, not the cord.
