1. Angle adjustment
Loosen the angle adjusting knob. Direct the
unit toward the charged body from which you
wish to eliminate static electricity. Adjust the
position and the angle of the unit and tighten
the adjusting knob.
The closer the unit is to the charged body,
the higher the static eliminating effect will be.
2. Power ON
Make sure the power switch is OFF and
connect the connector of the AC adapter
into the unit and plug the power cord into the
outlet. Then, turn the power switch ON.
The air molecules around the tips of the
electrodes are ionized (separated into
positive and negative ions) and blown toward
the charged body by the fan.
CAUTION
If any abnormal odor or abnormal noise
is observed, discontinue use immediately.
Turn the power switch OFF and unplug the
power cord from the outlet. Contact your
HAKKO representative. If the High Voltage
lamp turns ON, turn the power switch OFF
and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Then, remove the foreign objects from the
electrodes and turn the power switch ON
again. If the lamp still turns ON, contact
your HAKKO representative.
3. Airflow adjustment
Adjust the airflow using the airflow control
knob. The higher the airflow, the higher the
static eliminating effect will be.
4. Static elimination
As the ionized air comes in contact with the
charged body, it begins to neutralize the
electric charge.
5. Shut down
After using, turn the power switch OFF and
unplug the AC adapter from the outlet.
