Cleaning the Air Inlet Grille and Air Filter
Turn off the power supply
Do not touch with wet hand
Do not use hot water or volatile liquid
Air filter washing
NOTE: Do not forcibly pull down the air filter, it can damage it.
If the environment where the unit is located is full of dust, it is
recommended that the air filter be washed at least twice a week.
1. Remove the air inlet grille:
– Press the 2 buttons down on the grille and slide it towards
the direction of the arrows as shown in Fig. 1
– Raise the grille up at a 45
°
angle to remove the air inlet
grille.
2. Remove the air filter (Fig. 2) :
– Press the outer edge of the air inlet grille with your thumb.
At the same time, pull out the bottom edge of the filter net
with your forefinger, so the filter net comes apart from the
buttons. Remove the net.
Clean the air inlet grille
1. Open the air inlet grille:
– Pull the two handles at the same
time. Slowly pull them out. When
closing it, do this in reverse.
2. Remove the air filter:
– Refer to "Clean the air filter".
3. Remove the air inlet grille:
– Open the air inlet grille at a 45
°
angle, and lift up the grille to
remove it.
4. Clean the grille:
– Use a soft brush, water and a neutral
detergent to clean, then rinse the
grille throughly.
NOTE: Do not use hot water over 122
°
F (50
°
C) to clean the
grille. This will cause discoloration or deformation. When
there is too much dust in the area, use a ventilation fan or
directly spray the detergent on the air inlet grille. Wait 10
minutes and rinse with water.
5. Install air inlet grille:
– Refer to # 3.
6. Install the air filter:
– Refer to "Clean the air filter".
7. Close air inlet grille:
– Refer to # 1.
